Stones of our Lives...

Like sands through the ..... hourglass.....

I had bladder infection throughout my pregnancy with Siene that we could not get rid of. I was on antibiotics almost the whole time because when kidneys get infected the first thing they do is abort a baby! Too scary. Once she arrived, we thought it would go away, but it didn't. After an x-ray they found a peanut size kidney stone! I was more afraid they would tell me nothing was wrong. It was too big to pass so they blasted it with an ultrasound machine. The doctor assured me it would be painful recovering, I was an unflappable optimist at the time. The stone broke up beautifully. I WAS IN PAIN! He was definitely not joking about that! Unfortunately the infection lingers.....
