We spent two seperate weeks at 'Grammy's' house over November and December while Grammy and He-Paw traveled. Being at grammy's is like being on vacation for us. We can have it all there. Great movies, swimming (in her tub and hot tub), TV where ever and when ever we want. Every time we pull up her driveway Samara yells, "It's Grammy's House, It's Grammy's House!" When we get back home to our house, she cries, "NO, NO! I no WANT to go to this house! I want to go to Grammy's house!" and proceeds to pitch a fit for the next 15 minutes. The funniest was when Grammy's driveway was completely iced over. Samara was SO exited to be at Grammy's until we started sliding backwards down the hill. She thought I was pulling some sick joke to torture her. Alas, I ended up in the ditch and Sierra and I had to carry all the girls up the icy hill, across the driveway and inside. Sierra managed to fall on her wrist and strain it right before her final exam for History (an essay exam). I got her car around my ditched van all was well. It warmed up and I was able rock the van out of the ditch all myself. I was mighty proud.
For Thanksgiving, we double up since both Grandmothers live in the same town. It is so fun seeing everyone. Here are all of the Roush cousins. Three new additions since the last thanksgiving making the total count 11 under the age of 6! It is fun having lots of cousins! Since we have boy cousins, there are things like missiles and Connects (sp?) sitting around. So Samara did the logical thing and turned the missile and Connect stick into a mascara applicator and container.
I just had to add this clip of Jade reading Dr. Seuss's ABC's to Samara.
